Once you have community support for your water quality management strategy, it is important that you keep them informed and increase everyone's capacity to better manage your waterways. A key way to achieve this is by providing access to information, knowledge and support networks. Most catchment/waterway management organisations now have their own websites where they not only provide information about their area but also have links to other relevant sites. In developing this information, it is important to consider the range of information on products that is needed for the different stakeholders involved in waterway management, as well as other support activities, e.g. training and workshops.
